Invaders Must Learn From The Fate of Former Soviet Union :Commentary

Monday December 26, 2016

Kabul (BNA) December 26 the anniversary of Red Army invasion to Afghanistan is the beginning of calamities and destructions, Afghanistan has been seeing since 37 years ago.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes 37 years ago, from now the then Soviet Union’s army invaded Afghanistan from air and ground under the disguise of international aids to supports pro–Soviet rulers in  the country. The invasion of the Red Army in to Afghanistan disseminating sinister ideology in Afghan Islamic community, made the Afghan people to rise against invaders. Just a couple of days after in invasion, the Red Army faced the uprising of Afghan people and the invaders for suppressing the up risers used the most violent methods, but not successes to crack down the uprisings and defeat the strong will of Afghan freedom loving  people. December 26 is the darkest and the bitterest day, in modern history of Afghanistan with disastrous consequences, which led to the migration of millions of Afghanistan in to other countries, particularly to Pakistan and Iran. The Afghan brave people in war for independence offering more than two million people after a nine-year horrible, but honorable battle made the invaders to leave the country and to return in to their own country.
The ongoing civil war and emergence of extremist groups such as Taliban, IS and Al–Qaeda are the consequences of Red Army’s invasion in to our country. If today our peace and freedom loving people are suffering from foreign interferences, lack of a powerful central government or our country has changed in to scene of great intelligence games or the battleground of proxy wars of regional countries are all the consequences of the Soviets, invasion. In Kremlin, a few ambitious but ignorant people permitted the invasion. The occupation of Afghanistan or another poor country would be an easy task for a superpower country like the then Soviet Union, but this arrogant power not only defeated and surrendered against the will of people, but led to the complete collapse of the Soviet Union. The then Soviet Union during its invasion to Afghanistan was in almost complete isolation in international level and lost its credibility as a superpower among world communities including pro–Soviet east countries. Finally, accepting all insulting not only withdrew Afghanistan, but also erased its name from the world map forever. Although, the invasion and atrocities of Red Army can be an example for other invaders but still Afghanistan are the scene of foreign interferences and the arena of competence of among certain countries. Therefore, we advise those countries, and their slaves and mercenaries learning from the fate of Soviet Union and full of pride history of Afghanistan and stop their shameful interferences, otherwise, they will never achieve their evil aims in the region and face the same fate of the  former Soviet Union.
