Herat (BNA) Armed Taliban sustained heavy casualties in Koshk-e-Robat Sangi district, Herat province.
Scores of armed Taliban attacked on security post of border police forces in Chaghogk region, which were faced with resistance of security forces.
In the clashes, 28 armed Taliban were killed and wounded.
Border police officials said, the clashes started while Taliban attacked on border police forces.
It is said that in the clashes 11 armed Taliban were killed and 17 others wounded.
According to the officials, there were no any harm and casualties among border police forces in the clashes.
The officials said that currently the situation is quiet in the area.
