Govt. Committed To Women’s Civil Rights, VP Danesh

Kabul (BNA) A number of Afghan Women Network members in a meeting with Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh presented their suggestions on independently enacting of law on eradication of violence against women from panel code, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported the other day.
According to BNA, thanking second vice president efforts on supporting women rights, head of the network, Hasina Safi said much have so far been done by second VP office on women rights, an action which is appreciable to Afghanistan women rights advocate organizations.
It is merit to mention that based on article 7 of criminal code, “No punishment would be implemented unless it is clarified within the law.”
Afterward, expressing satisfied over the network’s efforts on women rights, second vice president stressed that as the government of Afghanistan is committed before citizens and international community, it is decisive to follow and strengthen the women civil rights in the country, BNA continued.
