Kabul (BNA) The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have killed 147 terrorists and wounded 104 others during reciprocal attacks and clashes across the country.
Ministry of Defense by releasing a statement reported BNA, the conflicts and reciprocal raids took place in various parts of Nangarhar, Laghman, Urozgan, Kandahar, Farah, Balkh, Helmand and Kunduz provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and military equipment belonged to the terrorists have been demolished during the attacks, the statement added.
Meanwhile, Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating 11 round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several deadly incidents in crowded areas of the mentioned provinces.
The mines have been planted by Taliban fighters to target innocent civilians and Afghan security troops, local officials said.
