Kabul (BNA) 158 insurgents were killed overnight in anti-security attacks in different parts of the country.
Fouad Aman, Deputy Spokesman of Defense Ministry told BNA that 158 Taliban insurgents were killed in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces in Ghazni, Uruzgan, Farah, Kandahar, Herat, Ghor, Jawzjan, Helmand, Badakhshan, Baghlan and Kabul and 37 other Taliban were wounded.
Large quantities of Taliban weapons and ammunition were also destroyed in the operation.
Also, security and defense forces discovered and neutralized 48 different types of mines in the mentioned areas.
