Kabul (BNA) The Ministry of National Defense announced that one hundred and seventy-one Taliban were killed in the war with the country’s security and defense forces.
According to BNA, in the past 24 hours, government forces in Ghazni, Zabul, Faryab, Kunar, Logar, Paktia, Paktika, Jawzjan, Helmand, Kandahar and Kapisa have clashed with the Taliban, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement heavy casualty inflected to Taliban in the clashes.
The ministry said the number of killed Taliban in the past 24 hours at 171 and said 143 others had been wounded.
Thirteen Taliban landmines have also been discovered and defused over the past 24 hours.
The Taliban have not yet responded to recent statements by the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense also did not mention the possible casualties of government forces in its newsletter.
