Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) conducting clearing operations killed 22 insurgents.
The operations were conducted in some parts of Khost, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Herat, Baghlan, Balkh, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces in which 22 militants were killed and 11 others were wounded, Defense Ministry Press Office reported BNA.
During the operations some heavy and light weapons were seized and dozens of mines discovered and defused.
According to another report, five National Army Soldiers were martyred by mine explosion during their duties.
