Trenkot (BNA) Thirty-three insurgents were killed in the latest fighting in Urozgan.
The Taliban were targeted by airstrikes last night in parts of Dehrawood, Chahar Chino and suburbs of Trenkot as they tried to attack military bases.
Atal Army Corps Media office in south of the country told BNA that thirty-three armed Taliban were killed in the fighting.
Security officials of the province says the air and ground forces targeted the attackers in a timely manner.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
