Qalat City (BNA) At least 34 insurgents including Peer Aqa a leader of them were killed and fourteen others were wounded following a military operation carried out by Afghan security forces in south of the country the other day.
Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the operation was launched in relevant areas of Newbahar, Mizan, Shinkai and Shamalzy districts of southern Zabul province.
Also some explosive material, ammunitions and a round of anti-vehicle mine have been discovered and defused following the operation.
