Lashkargah (BNA) Thirty-five Taliban insurgents were killed and eight others wounded in the latest fighting in Helmand.
The Taliban were preparing to attack security forces bases in outskirts of Lashkargah, Nahrsaraj and Nawa districts, targeting ground and air forces last night.
Thirty-five armed Taliban were killed and seven others were wounded in the fighting, Atal Corps’ media office in south of the country said in a news release.
Two Pakistani commanders and seven members of Taliban were also killed in the clashes.
