Kabul (BNA) Afghan and NATO-led forces during joint operations over the past 24 hours have killed 42 armed militants, a statement of interior ministry said.
According to the statement, one more insurgent was injured and 37 others were arrested during the operations conducted in several provinces including Nangarhar, Zabul and Kandahar.
A number of arms and ammunitions including 15 Kalashnikovs, RPG and 75 kg explosive material were seized by security forces during the operations.
