Khost (BNA) Five mine planters while planting mines were killed by their own mine explosion.
A security official of Khost province told BNA, it has been said that these rebels while planting mine on Sabri district for targeting security officials and civilians, their mine exploded and killed them and three others were also wounded.
Source added, simultaneous 15 armed insurgents were killed and 5 others were wounded during the Joint Afghan security forces operation in the last 24 hours.
It has been said, joint operation was led with support of air and artillery forces in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Nooristan, Pakita, Khost, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Nemroz, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
