Kabul (BNA) Up to 55 anti-government militias including 33 ISIS loyalists were killed and 19 others including 11 ISIS adherents were injured during joint military operations conducted by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were launched with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate armed oppositions and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika, Logar, Khost, Kandahar, Urozgan, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Six terrorists were arrested, 9 cars and 11 motorcycles belonging the terrorist groups have been destroyed during the operations, the source added.
