Kabul (BNA) Afghan commando forces by launching a military operation succeeded to release 62 civilians and military personnel from Taliban jail in northern Baghlan province last night.
The military operation have launched in Nawrozak region, Baghlan-Markazi district of the province, in which 26 civilians and 36 military troops have been released, Ministry of National Defense said in statement.
The statement added that, 4 terrorists who were prison’s guards were killed and some ammunition and explosive materials have been destroyed during the military operation.
Recently, Afghan commando forces by conducting military operations released hundreds civilians and Afghan security troops from Taliban prisons in different provinces.
