Charikar (BNA) Sixty-eight Taliban insurgents were killed in Shinwari district of Parwan yesterday.
Parwan police Chief Abdul Rauf Uruzgani told BNA that the Taliban were targeted by air and ground attack of security troops during a clearing operation in Shinwari district.
He said that in this operation, in addition to clearing the district from the Taliban, strategic and high-altitude areas of the district were also cleared from Taliban
He added that nine Taliban were also wounded in the operation and four others were captured by the security forces, and the operation continues there
