Afghan Military Helicopter Made Emergency Landing in Kandahar

Kandahar (BNA) An Afghan military helicopter made an emergency landing near Kandahar airport last night.

In this incident, the اhelicopter was destroyed and one of its pilots was injured.

According to reports, the helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing last night while transporting dead and wounded soldiers from Arghistan district to Kandahar city, apparently due to bad weather near Ahmad Shah Baba International Airport.

Kandahar police spokesman Jamal Naser Barakzai told BNA that a pilot of the helicopter was wounded and the plane was destroyed.

He blamed a technical problem for the crash.

But a security source at Kandahar’s Ahmad Shah Baba Airfield blamed air pollution main reason for the emergency landing of the helicopter.
