Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani extended his condolences over the demise of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedow’s father in a telephone conversation on Tuesday evening.
During the telephone conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedow thanked President Ghani for his sympathy, and both sides discussed the Turghandi-Herat and Aqina-Andkhoy railways, as well as major gas and electricity transmission projects, according to a presidential palace statement.
The Presidents of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan pledged to accelerate the implementation of these large and joint projects that will bring prosperity and well-being to the nations of the two countries, according to the statement.
