Lashkargah (BNA) A large Taliban explosives depot was destroyed in an airstrike in Helmand.
The warehouse was located in a Taliban hideout in Sangin district.
Maiwand Corps in the southwest of the country said in a news release that the Air Force, after intelligence information, discovered the exact location of the explosives depot and targeted it.
The Taliban bomb blast was reportedly destroyed in the airstrike.
The Taliban used these explosives to make bombs, mines and suicide vests.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
