Air & Ground Raids of ASF Kill 16 Taliban Rebels In Helmand

Lashkargah (BNA) 16 armed Taliban rebels’ were killed in a series of air and ground strikes of Afghan Security Forces in Helmand province last night.
The rebels were targeted while organizing a series of terrorist attacks in suburb of Lashkargah city.
Senior commander of ANA in south of the country told BNA, 16 Taliban rebels were killed in the raids.
He said, several strongholds of Taliban have been demolished.
Another report says, the security officials of Helmand province discovered two weapons caches of Taliban.
The caches were discovered in hideout of Taliban in suburb of Lashkarga city and Gereshk district, numerous of heavy and light weapons were also seized from the caches.
Likewise, the security officials of Helmand province have failed planning of Taliban for organizing a series of explosions.
Security officials discovered and defused six mines from crowded areas of the province and prevented from a series of blasts.
According to reports, the mines were planted by Taliban in busy roads of the province.
