Air Raid Leaves 28 Taliban Fighters Dead in Helmand

Kabul (BNA) At least 28 armed oppositions were killed during air attack carried out by Afghan air forces in southern Helmand province last night.

Fawad Aman deputy spokesman for Ministry of National Defense told BNA correspondent, the insurgents have targeted by Afghan air forces in Nawa district of the province.

Mawlavi Sayeed commander of Taliban “Red Unit” and his nine men were wounded during the attack, Aman added.

Twelve different type of weapons and a mine making depot have been destroyed following the air raid, Aman concluded.
