Kabul (BNA) As many as 29 armed oppositions were killed during air attack carried out by Afghan air forces in southern Kandahar province the night before last.
Fawad Aman deputy spokesman for ministry of national defense told BNA reporter, Afghan air forces have targeted gatherings of Taliban fighters in Arghandab and Maiwdand district of the province, as a result 29 insurgents were killed and five more were wounded.
A huge explosive material depot, a mine making factory, some heavy and light weapons and ammunitions belonged to the terrorists have been demolished during the air assault.
