Armed Insurgents Killed in Baghlan Operation

Pul-e-Khumri (BNA) Thirteen armed Taliban, including key members of the group, were killed in Baghlan last night.

Commander of the Special Operations Corps told BNA that commando forces targeted an armed Taliban rally in the second district of Pul-e-Khumri city in central Baghlan.

The source added that during the incident, 13 armed Taliban were killed in Baghlan, including Mufti Osmani, the local leader of the armed Taliban, and Qari Zakir, the deputy head of the Taliban’s military commission in Baghlan, and 24 others were wounded.
