Armed Insurgents Killed in Balkh Airstrikes

Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Thirty-three Taliban insurgents were killed and at least 19 others were wounded in two separate attacks in Balkh.
According to reports, the Taliban had gathered late yesterday in the bazaar area of ​​Kaldaro district in the Taqi area of ​​Shurtipa district to prepare for the attack, but the air force intervened and targeted them.
Shaheen Corps in north of the country said in a news release that 33 Taliban insurgents, including several senior commanders of the group, were killed and 19 others were wounded in the airstrikes.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
Meanwhile, the Taliban have been able to seize parts of the Kaldaroshortipe district in Balkh.
Senior military officials say they will soon retake lost parts of Balkh from the Taliban with the help of the People’s Force.
