Armed Taliban Killed In Laghman Battles

Mehtarlam (BNA) Eight armed Taliban were killed and six others have been wounded in latest clashes in Laghman province.
The Taliban were targeted by security forces while wanted to storm on a security checkpoint in Alishing District.
A police official of Laghman told BNA, eight insurgents were killed and six others have been injured.
According to another report, nine insurgents affiliated Taliban group were killed in a clash by Afghan security forces in Nooristan province yesterday.
The insurgents were targeted while they wanted to plant a mine in a main road of Want-e-Waigal District.
Another report says that the security officials prevented from a series of blasts in Nooristan province.
According to reports, the security officials discovered and defused six mines from crowded areas of the province and prevented from deadly events.
Taliban in Afghanistan mostly planted mines on crowded areas and victimized civilians.
