QALAT CITY (BNA) At least four fighters of Taliban group were killed and three others were wounded following artillery attack carried out by Afghan security forces in southern Zabul province.
The Taliban militants have been targeted in various parts of Arghandab district of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of country in a telephonic contact confirmed the killing of four insurgents and wounding of three others following the attack.
The members of Taliban group were busy on organizing terrorist and destructive activities that targeted and killed.
According to another report, Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating six round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Zabul province.
No individual or groups has commented regarding the mine plantings, but local officials called that Taliban fighters are responsible for the failed mine plantings.
