Ghazni (BNA) Five Taliban insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Ghazni last night.
Emil Momand, head of the press office of 203rd Thunder Corps, told BNA that the armed Taliban, who were trying to plant mines on the Nambreryak highway in Ghazni’s Andar district, were targeted by Afghan security forces airstrikes.
The armed opposition always planted mines on roads of the people in insecure areas of the country, most of which cause civilian casualties.
