Jalalabad (BNA) Afghan security forces attacked on strongholds of Daesh loyalists in Nangarhar province.
The attacks carried out during the last 24 hours on Daesh strongholds in parts of Nangarhar province.
First raid conducted by Afghan forces on hideouts of Daesh affiliates in Achen district.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, in the attack, 13 Daesh loyalists lost their lives and two others were injured.
He added several hideouts of Daesh fighters and weapons caches of them were also destroyed.
Another report says that 4 Daesh fighters were killed in another raid conducted by security forces on Daesh stronghold in Achen district.
The fighters’ were targeted while organizing of series of terrorist attacks in their hideouts in parts of Achen district and killed.
Police senior commander in the east of the country said four Daesh fighters lost their lives in the raid.
According to another report, seven Daesh militants while planting mines in Achen and Kot districts were targeted by security forces raids and killed.
It is said that there were no any harm and casualties suffered to residents in the districts.
