Kandahar (BNA) Thirty-six Taliban insurgents were killed in Afghan Security Forces operation in Kandahar yesterday.
Jamal Naser Barakzai, spokesman for Kandahar police chief, told BNA,
the Taliban were killed during an air and security operation launched by the air force in Zheri district of Kandahar province and its capital.
He added that 20 other insurgents were wounded during the operation and three vehicles with large quantities of their weapons were destroyed.
