Kabul (BNA) Matt Anderson, Australian ambassador to Kabul on Wednesday called on Chief Executive Second Deputy, Haji Mohammad Muhaqiq here in Kabul.
In the meeting, both sides exchanged views and discussed political, economic, security conditions and refugees related issues.
The Australian ambassador by expressing happiness over formation of National Unity Government and abilities of the Afghan security forces said Australia and provided lots of contributions to Afghanistan in the past 13 years and would remain as a top foreign contributor in Afghanistan.
Mohaqiq while praising Australia for its assistance to Afghanistan and welcoming the Afghan refugees in Australia said Afghanistan government by providing better life facilities to its citizens was trying to prevent immigration of Afghans to foreign countries.
Related to Daesh and terrorism, Muhaqiq said it was true that Daesh was threatening not only Afghanistan but also the world, asking the international community for counterterrorism.
