Neli (BNA) Avalanche took the lives of four children in Kitty district, Daikundi yesterday.
Ghairat Jawaheri, a member of the Daikundi Provincial Council, told a local BNA correspondent by telephone that four children had died in a snowstorm in Kharzar village of Kitty district of the province.
He added: “These children were going to school when they were caught on the way to the snow.”
Residents of Daikundi are affected by snowfall, and road closures due to snowfall in the cold of the year.
