Kabul (BNA) A public awareness program on the importance and role of the corona vaccine was held by the United Nations Children’s Fund or UNICEF in Baghlan.
Dr. Shafiqullah Anwari, UNICEF Representative in Baghlan, told the BNA that the one-day awareness-raising program, which aimed to raise awareness of the importance of the Corona vaccine, was attended by 30 journalists and media officials in Baghlan.
In this program, the UNICEF representative, in addition to the importance of proper implementation of the corona virus vaccine, appreciated the role and position of the press and media in enlightening the minds of the community, and thanked the active contribution of the media and journalists.
He said people who should not be vaccinated, including pregnant women, people under the age of 18 who are infected with the corona virus, as well as those who have been shocked by the vaccination phase, but others in the community can get the corona vaccine free of charge.
