Faizabad (BNA) Local officials in Badakhshan say, Shurabak dam in the province will be inaugurated soon.
According to BNA, local officials in Badakhshan told the media that the dam would be inaugurated soon by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
Construction of the dam began in 2016 and it cost more than forty-five million euros to build, with the help of the German government.
This dam was built over the Kokcha River in Faizabad city.
