CE Meets Indian Ambassador To Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met Indian ambassador to Kabul, Amar Sinha here in Kabul at the Sapidar Palace, a statement from his office said yesterday.
In the meeting, both sides spoke about recent political situation of the country, the statement further said.
Calling India a good friend and partner of Afghanistan, CE Abdullah thanked the country for its cooperation in different fields with the people and government of Afghanistan over the last years, the statement added.
Afterwards, Indian ambassador to Kabul appreciated the CE efforts in different arenas particularly, in strengthening democracy, fighting terrorism and corruption, the statement continued. 
He also assured of his country’s continued cooperation with the government of Afghanistan on fighting terrorism.
According to another report, CE Abdullah also separately met with European Union Representative and Ambassador, Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin in his office yesterday, during which both sides exchanged views on recent political and security situation.
In the meeting, CE Abdullah lauded the bravery of the Afghan security forces and stressed that with existence of them, the terrorists and their foreign supporters would never reach their goals in Afghanistan.
