Qala-e-Naw (BNA) The polio vaccination campaign started in Badghis yesterday.
Badghis Public Health Director Abdul Latif Rustaee told BNA that more than 170,000 children under five receive the polio vaccine which continues for five days.
Meanwhile, Abdul Wares Sherzai, head of Badghis, called on the armed opposition not to block the vaccination of children in that province.
