Clean Drinking Water Provided to Hundreds of Schoolchildren in Nangarhar

Jalalabad (BNA) With the construction of a water supply network in Nangarhar, more than a thousand students of a school have access to clean drinking water for the first time.

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) built the network for Katahpur High School in Surkh Rud district.

An official from Nangarhar Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department told BNA that with the construction of the network, 1,050 male and female students get access to clean drinking water for the first time.

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development spent nearly one million Afghanis to build the network.

The students are happy with the construction of this network and say that they have been suffering from diseases due to the use of dirty water for years.
