Commandos Cleared Several Villages From Taliban

Herat (BNA) In an operation, commandos cleared several villages from armed Taliban in Pashtun Zarghun District, Herat.

The spokesman for the Special Operations Corps told BNA that members of the corps during the operation cleared several villages of the district from Insurgents.

The source added that 13 Taliban insurgents were killed during the operation, 12 other insurgents were wounded, and nine Taliban weapons and  mines were discovered and defused in the area.

According to another report, the Commandos rebuilt two bridges which were destroyed by Taliban militants in Pashtun Zarghun district of the province.
