COVID-19; 253 Additional Cases Reported in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported 253 new positive cases of COVID-19 from 1,334 samples tested in Afghanistan within the last 24 hours.
According to BNA report, five patients have died due to coronavirus, while 44 others have recovered within the last 24 hours in the country.
With this, the total cases are now 44,177, the total reported deaths are 1,650 and total recoveries are 35,339 in Afghanistan.
Officials in Ministry of Public Health reported that 7,188 active cases of COVID-19 among patients at under their care as Thursday morning in Afghanistan and 93 patients are in critical conditions.
It is mentionable that until now 134,314 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 56,300,139 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,350,326 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
