Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai received the credential of the new Danish ambassador to Afghanistan Beeni Denis in a special ceremony here in Kabul.
Dr. Zalmai Rasul, Foreign Minister had also attended the ceremony held at the presidential palace.
Following presentation of the credentials, the new Danish ambassador had exchanged views with president Karzai, representing the people of Afghanistan president Karzai welcomed Reeni Denis and thanked him for his country’s assistance to Afghanistan in the past ten years and before that during the Jehad of the people of Afghanistan.
The Danish ambassador expressing pleasure over start of his mission in Afghanistan said that his country’s assistance to Afghanistan will increase after 2014.
He added that he will strive during his mission here to further expand relations between Afghanistan and Denmark.
