Development Projects To Be Constructed in Nangarhar

Jalalabad (BNA) Dozens of development projects are being implemented in Khogyani district of Nangarhar.
These projects include the construction of irrigation canals, water and electricity networks, and rural roads and bridges.
Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar, told BNA that one hundred and seventy-seven projects are to be implemented within the framework of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development’s Citizenship Pact in Khogyani district this year.
The cost of implementing these projects is estimated at 412 million Afghanis, funded by the government and aid agencies.
It is expected with the implementation of these projects, a large part of the problem of the villagers will be solved and improvements will be made in the supply of drinking water, transportation routes and the development of agriculture.
