Jalalabad (BNA) A doctor in Nangarhar released from grip of kidnappers after at least a month.
National security officials say they have arrested a kidnapper in connection with the doctor’s abduction.
Dr. Ahmad Shah was abducted from Rudat district while on his way to work and was finally rescued by national security officials late yesterday in an operation.
The National Security source said in a newsletter that the kidnappers have demanded large sums of money from his family in exchange for the doctor’s release.
