Dozens Taliban Militants Killed in Farah

Farah (BNA) Dozens of Taliban insurgents were killed in clashes with security forces in Farah, and dozens more were wounded.
Mullah Awaz, commander of the Red Unit, and Mawlawi Mukhlis, head of the Taliban military commission, were among those killed.
The Taliban were reportedly preparing to attack military bases last night, targeting them from the air and ground raids.
Zafar Army Corps in the west of the country said in a press release that thirty-nine armed Taliban, including the head of the military commission and the Red Unit commander of the Taliban, were among the killed.
At the end of the conflict, dozens of assailants’ weapons fell into the hands of the security forces.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
