Kabul (BNA) The recent statements of Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan have been interpreted differently inside and outside the country.
Even a number of political circles have considered it the depth of tension of relation between Kabul and Washington; but president Karzai insisted that he has never intended to damage the friendly relation between the two countries but wanted to further strengthen it.
BNA political analyst writes:
Afghanistan a country which has experienced many hardships and agonies during the last three decades, all its sufferings have been originated from foreign interferences; this is because of its geopolitical situation. Therefore, the regional and international forces to achieve their evil and ambitious goals, against all international standards have changed Afghanistan to the battle ground that so far caused huge casualties and distractions. Fortunately, the last decade developments indicate that Afghanistan has attracted the world attention which is appreciated and welcome by Afghan people. During this period Afghanistan emerged as an independent country and achieved great victories in various aspects of life.
In spite of these huge achievements, Afghanistan still suffers from grave challenges, again imposed by foreigners and history long enemies.
Terrorism and extremism are among those challenges, not only take the lives of innocent Afghans but endanger peace and security in the region and entire world. Knowing the threat of terrorism and extremism after September incident, US led international forces rushed to the area to eradicate and root out these two evil phenomenons forever, but unfortunately, they have not yet succeeded to achieve this humane goal. The reason of the failure is obvious, the international forces instead of targeting the strongholds of tourists behind the Afghan borders, fought terrorists who have been recruited, trained, funded in those strongholds and sent to Afghanistan to kill innocent Afghans. It is certain that in the existence of the strongholds and save haven of terrorists behind Afghan borders, defeating even reducing terrorist attacks would be impossible. So, if the international forces and peace loving countries truly want the elimination of terrorism and extremism, they should target the notorious strongholds of terrorists, supported not by Pakistani civil government but by ISI the intelligence of that country. In reality, it is ISI that leads and organizes terrorists’ attacks not only in Afghanistan but at different parts of the world. Presently Afghanistan is the prey of terrorism but the people across the world should know that nobody will be safe from the threat of terrorism all over the world. Finally, even their devoted patron this is ISI one day will become the target of terrorists’ attacks.
Understanding the grave subsequences of terrorist attacks, which already taken the lives of many Afghan people and imposed a serious threat to security and stability of the region and world as a whole, Afghan authorities drew the attention of involved parties and international community to find the way for the peaceful settlement of the problem which as mentioned earlier threats not only the region but the world. This humane call of Afghanistan not heard yet as it expected. We believe, seriously and honestly bringing pressure on the patron of terrorism and Afghan lead peace negotiation could lead to end terrorism and restore peace and stability in to the region.
What the Afghan president have said, originate from goodwill of Afghans for ending bloodshed in their country not creating tension with its allies at the top US that not only spared not any aid to the reconstruction of Afghanistan but even shed the blood of its dearest sons in struggle against terrorism in Afghanistan. The Afghans just want, in any condition the independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and national interests of their country to observed
Afghanistan considers US as its strategic partner and ally and spares no any effort for further strengthening of relation between the two countries.
