TARINKOT CITY (BNA) As many as eight anti-government militias were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in southern Urozgan province last night.
The conflicts happened between Afghan security forces and Taliban fighters in Dehrawoud district of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of the county told BNA reporter, eight militants armed oppositions were killed during the clashes.
Taliban fighters have been targeted by Afghan security forces when they wanted to plant roadside mine in crowded areas of the district.
There were no casualties on parts of Afghan security forces and civilians at the end of the assaults.
