Kabul (BNA) Three local commanders of Taliban along with their 9 armed men were arrested in a series of operations across the country.
The commanders were targeted by Afghan and NATO troops in the relevant areas of Sangeen district of Helmand, Shendand district of Herat, and Baghlan Jadeed.
BNA quoting NATO reports said that the commanders were responsible for terrorist attacks in different parts of the district.
It is said that they were arrested while organizing a series of terrorist activities in their relevant areas.
Several depots of weapons and narcotics were seized by the forces.
