Qala-e-Naw (BNA) Eight armed Taliban militants were killed and seven others wounded in recent clashes in Badghis province last night.
The clashes occurred while assailants’ attacked on Ballamurghab district bazaar.
Sayed Sharif police official of Ballamurghab district, Badghis province told BNA, in the clashes, eight armed insurgents lost their lives and seven others were injured.
He said that the attackers wanted to capture the district bazaar of the province, with heavy losses suffered defeat and fled the site.
It is said that in the clashes, a police official was injured.
According to security officials, during the clashes, tens of heavy and light weapons of attackers were seized.
So far Taliban have not commented on this regard.
