Kabul (BNA) Spokesman to Independent Election Commission says 355 have been currently reviewed from among 6000 ballot boxes.
Speaking to journalists yesterday in a news conference, IEC spokesman Noor Mohammad Noor said 355 boxes had been audited and reviewed so far from among 6000 ballot boxes of special sites.
“From among 22228 boxes, 18404 ballot boxes showing 80. 67% have been audited so far and only 4224 boxes remained,” Noor said.
He added IEC has decided that today the process would be accelerated, recalling of absence of a number of ECC observers and said only 61 observers of Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC) and 115 employees of UN were present to audit the process the other day.
Meanwhile, 248 national and 221 international observers attended in the audit process the other day.
