Kabul (BNA) Eighty six armed Taliban were killed in a series of clearing operation conducted by ANA forces in provinces of the country last night.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, the operations conducting in the outskirts of Balkh, Kandahar, Zabul, Paktika, Herat, Badghis, Kapisa and Helmand provinces killed 86 armed Taliban, wounded 62 and arrested six others.
Several local commanders of Taliban were among the dead.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized in the operations.
Also, the ANA forces discovered and defused six mines from relevant areas of Jouzjan and Herat province.
