KABUL (BNA) Representative of Turkish relief foundation in a meeting on Tuesday with Mawlavi Abdul salam Hanafi deputy Prime Minister said they provide 1,000 food packages and deliver it to southeast earthquake victims daily.
Mujahid Kalich a representative of the Turkish Relief Foundation said in addition to distributing tents and blankets, they provide food packages daily for the suffered families in the recent earthquake in the southeast, according to the press office deputy Prime Minister.
Deputy Prime Minister Hanafi appreciating the Turkish Relief Foundation’s assistance asked for the foundation’s cooperation in the reconstruction works in the quake-hit sites in the southeast.
After a powerful earthquake hit southeast provinces, which left scores of people dead and brought vast financial losses, world countries announced providing aid to the suffered families.
The Islamic Emirate’s officials say more assistance is needed to rebuild houses for the families who are suffering from the recent powerful earthquake in southeast provinces.
