Kabul (BNA) 99 Daesh affiliates’ were killed in air and ground joint operations which was conducted by Afghan security forces from two week ago in outskirt of Chaparhar district, Nangarhar province.
He added, in the operations, 21 other Daesh fighters were injured and eight suspects have been detained along with seven vehicles and numerous of weapons.
A hideout of the Daesh affiliates has been destroyed and tens round of mines were discovered and neutralized.
According to Faqiri, during the operations, all regions of the mentioned district were cleared from Daesh fighters.
