120 Afghans released from Pakistan’s Karachi prisons: MoFA

KABUL (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday said that 120 more Afghan nationals released from the prisons of Pakistan’s Karachi city following the efforts of Afghanistan’s Consulate General.
The Consul General of Afghanistan in Karachi also said that 130 more Afghans will be released from Pakistani prisons in the near future.
This comes as Pakistani police have arrested and imprisoned a number of Afghan immigrants for not having residence documents in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
